Say ‘NO’ to Meat-Eating Men Urges PETA

The animal advocacy group PETA has developed a fresh way to discipline men. According to a recent study, men’s meat consumption is one of the main reasons for the climate issue. PETA urged women to organize a sex strike against obese men. According to the organization, it will benefit the globe and contribute to preventing the development of toxic masculinity.

According to PETA’s statement “A study published in the journal PLOS ONE found that men contribute significantly more to the climate catastrophe than women, primarily through meat consumption. Their eating habits result in 41 per cent more greenhouse gases.” The statement also claimed that men should take “accountability for their actions”.

Pointing at a group of men, PETA added, “We all know them—the suburban men with beer bottles in hand, brandishing tongs while cooking sausages on their expensive gas grills.” According to the organization, men who grill meat and have barbeques in an effort to demonstrate their “masculinity to themselves and their fellow people” are harming both animals and the environment.

The organization’s representative, Dr. Carys Bennett, said dietary disparities exist where there are dietary disparities between men and women. Men consumed more meat than women, which increased their carbon footprint. Bennett responded to PETA’s proposal for a sex ban by calling it “tongue in cheek.”

A meat tax is also included in PETA’s plan to lessen carbon footprints and protect the environment. According to Daniel Cox of PETA’s German chapter, men should pay a 41 percent meat tax.
