    7 Chakras in Human Body

7 Chakras in Human Body: Our body has 7 chakras that are the energy centers in our body. Each chakra has a specific function and it’s important to balance these 7 chakras for physical and mental well being.

The chakras are Sanskrit words meaning wheel or disk. They are energy centers in our body that help us maintain our physical and mental well-being. They are located along the spine, each having a specific function and purpose. The chakras can be thought of as wheels with spokes that spin around like a wheel when we connect them to various parts of our body.

Chakras have been referred to as “spinning wheels,” “energy centers,” “centers,” or even “windows” through which pranic energy flows into us from all directions (including inside us).

This flow of prana enters through different openings at various levels – some more prominent than others – while it moves up through these openings until it reaches one particular opening called sushumna nadi (“central channel”). From this point on, this flow follows Sushumna until it reaches an end named Brahma Vidya (“Divine Wisdom”).

    7 Chakras in Human Body

    1. Root chakra: 7 Chakras in Human Body

The root chakra is located at the base of your pelvis, and it’s responsible for keeping you grounded in the physical world. It’s also responsible for grounding your emotions and feelings, so when this chakra is healthy, you feel stable and secure in life.

The root chakra relates to both physical health (your balance) as well as mental health (your control over your emotions). When this chakra isn’t functioning properly, then there could be problems with both aspects of our lives—we might feel too much anxiety or stress about daily tasks at work; or we might have difficulty expressing ourselves emotionally due to fear of hurting someone else’s feelings if we let go of some old grudges which were meant simply because someone hurt us first!

    2. Sacral Chakra: 7 Chakras in Human Body

The sacral chakra is located in the lower abdomen and is responsible for our creativity and sexuality. It’s associated with the color orange, which means that if you’ve ever been a person who enjoys bright colors or even silly hats, this might be your chakra!

When we look at the element water, it makes sense why this area would be related to creativity: without water, it wouldn’t be possible for us to exist as intelligent beings on Earth (and life itself would probably not exist). Furthermore, since sex plays an important role in life satisfaction—and since both partners’ pleasure matters are just as much as their own—the sacral chakra often affects how well relationships work out between partners later down the road.

    3. Solar Plexus Chakra: 7 Chakras in Human Body

The solar plexus chakra is also known as the Manipura Chakra. It is located at the navel and is responsible for our self-esteem and confidence. It’s associated with yellow and fire, so it’s no surprise that this chakra can be activated by eating a lot of food (which will make you feel full), and having a lot of sex, or having meditation sessions where we focus on our breath (which requires concentration).

If you want to develop your solar plexus energy through yoga or meditation, use this exercise:

    • Sit down comfortably in a cross-legged position on a cushion or mat with hands placed palms down on your knees just below the navel area where your waist would be if sitting normally; make sure your knees don’t go past your toes!
    • Close eyes tightly shut for about 5 seconds before releasing them slowly starting from the top down until they open completely again without bending forward from head level upwards unless necessary due to injury or muscle spasms etc.

    4. Heart Chakra: 7 Chakras in Human Body

The heart chakra is located in the center of your chest, and its responsibility is to allow you to feel love. It also helps you find joy in life and know when someone loves you or not. This can help improve your self-esteem, which in turn will make it easier for you to forgive others as well as yourself when necessary.

The color associated with this chakra is green because green represents nature; therefore, it’s associated with inner peace and harmony with nature around us all day long!

    5. Throat Chakra: 7 Chakras in Human Body

The throat chakra is associated with the color blue and is located in the throat area.

This chakra governs communication and self-expression, which can be seen as a key component of our ability to express ourselves verbally or non-verbally (through body language).

The thyroid gland plays an important role in regulating metabolism and growth, making it an important aspect of this chakra’s function for us as humans today.

    6. Third Eye Chakra: 7 Chakras in Human Body

The third eye chakra is located between the eyebrows and is often associated with the pineal gland. This chakra is believed to be the seat of consciousness and intuition, as well as insight into our self-healing abilities.

    7. Crown Chakra: 7 Chakras in Human Body

The crown chakra is located at the top of your head, and it’s associated with spirituality and higher consciousness. It’s also located in the center of your pineal gland—a small gland that produces melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep cycles.

The color violet represents divine love, wisdom and beauty (as well as being associated with purple flowers).
